  • I feel saddened to have to give this review after such positive experiences previously. However, during the wc 22 august I attended with my children, a friend and her children. The children went to get changed in the outside changing rooms, built by the lake team. My friend’s teenage son, whilst trying to put on his wetsuit, slipped in a concealed (by the Astro put down by the lake team) hole and he dislocated his knee.   • Fantastic place, we had a great day. Lots of fun. Staff were very helpful.

  • Same theme as other reviews, unsure why the parking charge as nothing else near by and just a gravel car park. Almost all the staff we encountered were very young but we found them helpful and fairly straight forward process from turning up to getting out on the paddle boards. Would recommend for a beginner to gain some confidence but not very challenging on a flat lake, would happily book again if offered service in either the sea or river

  • Fantastic little facility offering a range of watersports. If you have your own kit you can normally just turn up and use the facilities. Alternatively, book onto one of there guided sessions. Prices are very reasonable but the parking is a bit steep!

  • Really nice, calm and quiet for the first paddle boarding session at 10am. Safe for kids to go out on their own. Booking included paddleboard, wet suit and buoyancy aid. Water's a bit murky but you'll spend most of your time on the board. Wear wet shoes if you don't like the mud. Got quick and clear instructions from our guide, simple enough for the young ones to try out paddle boarding and kayaking for the first time and enjoy it.
