McDermott First Aid Training

Fun and engaging first aid courses delivered by a registered paramedic, covering all of the UK. All courses are fully accredited and meet HSE requirements.My name is David McDermott, and I am owner of and primary trainer for McDermott First Aid Training. I first started working for the London Ambulance Service in 2006; since then I have spent over 11 years working on frontline ambulances, with the majority of those years as a registered Paramedic. My many years' experience dealing with a range of illnesses, injuries and incidents has given me confidence in passing on my knowledge, and a drive to ensure that people are capable of performing competent first aid. During my time as a Paramedic, I quickly noticed that the most helpful conversations between First Aiders and Ambulance crew members were with those who felt confident that they had been able to help. I wish to instil that confidence in all of my trainees and, because of my medical background, am certain that you will leave my courses feeling ready to tackle anything.
