Martin Everett Drum Teacher

Martin has taught my son for several years. Martin is always very patient and helpful and my son really enjoys the lessons and has made good progress so far.

Martin has been teaching our daughter weekly since she was 3. We've always found him a patient and sensitive teacher rather than strict or dogmatic and he progresses at a speed and complexity that works for her. No hesitation in recommending him for children (I also understand he teaches special needs kids in and outside of school settings).

He adapted extremely well and fast to the lockdown conditions and provides high quality teaching via zoom. Martin is a great coach who adapts to his students to make sure they constantly continue making progress and keeping motivation and enthusiasm at playing. Highly recommended.

My son enjoys going to drum lessons weekly with Martin and over a short period has learnt a lot , we feel Martin gets the best out of the people he teaches as he is patient, dedicated and obviously has a lot of experience teaching a variety of people, which definitely helps the child learn. Martin is a great drum teacher. He is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, flexible and professional. I’d recommend him to literally anyone looking to start drumming or playing any percussion instrument. Even after just a few lessons I am a more confident percussionist and I feel like I can take on new challenges and advance much more quickly than if I’d continued self-teaching or using YouTube. One of the best musicians and teachers I’ve ever met!
