Mark Willcocks

I have heard Mark play guitar and lute and he plays both beautifully. I particularly love the lute and Mark's performance is enhanced by the period costumes he wears which really brings the whole performance to life and gives you a feeling of stepping back in time.

It is always a pleasure to see Mark and have him participate and support me in ceremony. I have worked with Mark on several occasions,over the last three years; whilst at the Medieval Tournament in Herstmonceux. I conduct Handfasting Ceremonies for couples in love. I have known Mark for some years, we used to be neighbours and have played in concerts together. He is a great musician, reliable and kind. Also cooks a great curry.

The best guitar teacher ever. I started lessons with Mark in 2005, and still have lessons with him today. I'm now a professional musician with a degree in music and Grade 8 with Distinction, thanks to Marks hard work. There's nobody else like Mark, he always finds the most practical way to get the best sound. He's also very warm and welcoming, and makes you feel at home instantly.
