  • Love this venue have known nev for over 25 years and he has held some of the best events in history here with ledgand such as rat pac, Kenny Ken, slip matt, Ability And many more ❤️

  • Built by John Henry Iles in 1926, this was a great facility in its prime. Unfortunately, it has been left to rot & decay, & is now no longer fit for its original purpose. However, if you like graffiti, this is the place to go ! The Sir David Attenborough mural is gradually being covered by other graffiti. Very colourful.

  • A palimpsest on the the site of the historical subterranean Grade II Listed 19th.Century “Clifton Baths” and built in 1927 spreading over 3 entertainment terraces. The lido a large semi-circular open-air enclosed seawater tidal pool. The remaining low-budget Art-Deco tropes and portholes nod to a heyday long gone the way of a faded dog-eared saucy seaside postcard in a biscuit tin in nan’s loft. What remains of the lido a bilious decrepit and disintegrating graffiti smothered dismal sandpit. ...

  • Enjoyed holidays here all through the 70s and early to mid 80s. I saw Norman Wisdom at the Lido Theatre (maybe 74), sat with my parents watching Tony Savage play. It's heart breaking seeing The Lido now but I guess times change. These photos are from my album, from a better time.
