Marconi Sailing Club

Came to the open day in 2017 and all our family came off the boats with enormous grins. Since joining, we have made great use of the sail training days and club boats (all without extra charge!) to gain confidence and have fun at this friendly, well equipped and fantastically situated club.

Great venue for sailing on the river Blackwater with all tide access and an active club with a wide range of sailing and social activities.

A fantastic family club open from March to October. With plenty of water at all states of tide. Learning to sail here is easy for adults and children alike. A truly awesome sailing club, with a friendly atmosphere, great for youngsters and adult beginners as well as those who are keen for a bit of racing or cruising. Superb facilitates and on site catering keep life simple for a day down there. Club dinghies and cruisers, rowing skiffs, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and windsurfers all available for members to use. Camping in the summer months really brings a family vibe to events too, plus those sunsets over Osea Island!

Marconi Sailing Club has excellent facilities for a wide range of sailing activities. With a large number of deep water as well drying moorings for cruisers. A pontoon with freshwater available, gives easy access to boats for loading and unloading.
