Mapledurham Lawn Tennis Club

Only 4 courts available, and you can't prebook them. So everyone goes there hoping they will get an empty court, or won't have to wait for long for someone to finish. The courts are beautifully made, and there are floodlights, but 2 of them are turned off at 8pm, leaving only 2 available courts ☹️. People get impatient and annoyed. Update June 2020. Work on building the school is behind schedule, however it's nice to see improvements being made to the facilities and carpark. It looks as though the clubhouse is also undergoing major renovation. The club is on the grounds of Mapledurham playing fields. I have not been to the club but I have friends who are members and my daughter has been a few times with them. It's a small, friendly, and popular club from what i have observed.
