  • Not the best by any means.the fairway almost covers yr ball.its light rough.. needs a grade one and a short back and sides.not bad though for a quick game as you can get straight on and play.

  • As new to golf I wanted to try somewhere laid back and also small, as I'm not confident for a big 18 hole course This is place is perfect for beginners and club level golfers. Me and my friend normally play 9 holes at tapton academy chesterfield but that's very up and dows with some steep hills. Not the case here at Mansfield Woodhouse 9 hole. It was pretty much flat. The price at £6.50 is a brilliant price There are a couple of negatives, the Fairways are pretty narrow and tee boxes are not ...

  • Nice little 9 hole course! The greens are not brilliant but in general the course appears to be well maintained. It's pretty flat, no big hills like on my regular course. I'm sure I'll be playing this course again in the future.

  • This course is better suited towards high handicappers or seniors. Short, flat and not much of a challenge but for £6.00 it's fine for a bit of practice. Some narrow fairways but not many bunkers and greens are average at best. Only need 5 clubs to play on here so again perfect if you're just starting out. Would be terrible on a busy day as most holes can be reached in one but will play here again as can turn up unannounced and get some practice in rather than going to a driving range.

  • As a lot of people have already said, the greens are, how should I put it, needing a bit of TLC. But on the positive side, me and some colleagues just rolled up at 1400 and got straight on without even having to book! Nine holes for six pounds and nice food and a pint afterwards at the on adjacent pub/restaurants. Will definitely be going again.
