Maidstone Canoe Club

A large, active and friendly club in a great location, supporting white water kayaking, racing, sea kayaking, touring, open canoes and standup paddleboards. Lots of gear, qualified coaches, local- and international trips.

I have been a member of this club for about a year at the time of writing this update and am thoroughly enjoying it. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. There is a wealth of advice and support on hand as well. If you want to get qualified as a coach, there are courses available to help you advance. Great club with a huge variety of boats to use and superb access to the river Medway. Run by friendly people with a wealth of canoeing knowledge covering all aspects of the sport. If you live nearby and fancy some fun on the river, it is definitely worth coming to speak to them. Open days are run every year where you can meet the members and try all of the boats for free with no pressure to join the club.

Great friendly Kayak / Canoe club. Been with the club for nearly a year and have learnt loads and had the opportunity to join people out on some great paddles.

Excellent canoe and kayaking club. Also includes racing teams and paddleboards. The club has qualified instructors and runs trips throughout uk and Europe. Friendly, casual paddles run 2 or 3 times a week.
