Lowertown Farm Retirement Livery

I've been remiss it's taken me this long to write a review but we stayed here about a year ago for my 30th birthday and the couple who own the farm were so wonderful and accommodating. Mind, it is a bit of trek to get there and being we are from the States driving a car on roads we are not accustomed to, it took us a while to get in the gates with the SUV we had! Great location and very nice accommodation. Excellent breakfast and 10/10 in terms of value for money. Don't let Google send you the back way, much easier access from the northern end.

Set in a beautiful and quiet location lowertown farm is perfect for walkers, exploring or just a peaceful stay! Free breakfast for all guests; I would highly recommend the flavoursome full English!

I've unfortunately not stayed with them, but I did book here on recommendation whilst visiting the River Dart for a kayaking course. Unfortunately the course was cancelled a few days before it was due to run. Lowertown Farm were extremely understanding and refunded me immediately with no fuss. Top service, and they will be my first port of call next time I'm in the area.
