  • What can I say about this club?! ❤️ Joined as a beginner a year ago and learned how to fence from scratch! The coaches are very knowledgeable and welcoming while the club members are all friendly and very social! We regularly go out for a drink after training and we are always supporting one each other! More experienced fencers and coaches have helped me enormously develop my fencing skills!! If you have never fenced before, if you have fenced a little bit, if you are an experienced fencer t...

  • I joined the club after lockdown and it's hands down the only sporty activity I've managed to keep up with regularly, over a year now (and I really hate going to the gym generally)! It's a great club for beginners, as you get to fence other inexperienced fencers, as well as people with more than 10-15 years of experience who will give you advice and guidance. The private lessons are also nice and the coaches have different teaching styles, so you can learn various skills from all of them. I...

  • I took up fencing here at the London fencing club, and it has been a fantastic experience! The teachers are kind, attentive and exceptionally knowledgeable about their sport - Anna and Tim are outstanding! The atmosphere of the club is very inclusive, and everyone is welcoming and kind to beginners. If you are considering learning to fence, this is definitely the place to do it, the beginners course is really well structured.

  • (Member since 2008) LFC is one of London's friendliest and most accessible fencing clubs with a large and diverse membership in age, skill and background. It has an active and vibrant social scene ranging from post-fence pub sessions and Halloween parties to overseas workshops and group ski holidays. The club provides gear for beginner fencers, taking the sting out of starting the sport, and is great at graduating newbies into its field of hospitable intermediates.

  • I have started fencing last November at London Fencing Club at first with the beginners course and then attending the weekly sessions, it’s brilliant! The teachers (Tim, Anna and Dumi) are really nice people and competent coaches, so passionate about fencing that they really put their harts in it. The Club is based on a lovely community of members, of all levels of expertise, where even a beginner with very limited skills feels welcome.
