Lochhill Equestrian & Trekking Centre

We had an amazing experience at Lochhill Equestrian & Trekking Centre this morning. We were on the 2 hour hack and we really enjoyed our experience. Lovely staff, beautiful, well behaved and well kept horses and the views on this hack are spectacular. We were made very welcome and encouraged to be involved in untacking after our wonderful hack. Booked a trek for us both as a surprise for my partners birthday last weekend. We were both asked about our riding experience and given the appropriate horses. A brief practise in the paddock was followed by a trek on the riding schools land through woodland and fields with some amazing views. Our guide, Lilly was friendly and offered up advice throughout when needed without us having to ask. Superb equestrian centre run by caring and friendly staff! Enjoyed a beautiful hour's group hack on the stunning Molly. Every care taken with horses and riders. Highly, highly recommended!

Excellent hour long trek here. Staff very welcoming and Steph (our guide) very pleasant and knowledgeable. Tried a wee trot back at the arena - great fun. Can't praise them highly enough .. just go and enjoy. Seamus

I had the most amazing time at Lochhill, Helen the owner and Vicky the instructor, really looked after me on a 2 hr hack. The horses are so loved and looked after, the scenary is just stunning. I went back for another hack. Awesome.
