Annual Northern Athletics championships was held at this venue. The weather although blustery and chilly did not detract from an amazing weekend of athletics.

Great venue and facilities. Track can be used by the public if a member of the gym/ swimming pool

Officiated the Merseyside Championships here. I find Wavertree track more exposed to the elements than the average track, but still a good venue to compete/train at.

This is a covid test site at the moment, Mostly in the tennis centre alongside, opposite Wavertree Sports Centre!! Very well organised, very well controlled, easy access, easy parking, (especially for disabled), it is doing all tests, both for appointments and (most importantly) just walk-in, no symptoms tests, very quick "sms" results!! (I advise you to take your "smartphone" as it makes the whole process so much more "simples")!! "Very highly recommended!!

A fantastic venue and training ground for young and adult athletes, of all abilities, from around Liverpool and a tremendous asset to the community. Recently relaid track is now in tip top condition and good for many more seasons. There is access to highly committed and high quality coaching for sprint and distance runners of all ages and a support network that ensures teams can attend regional competition in a truly competitive spirit. If you don't believe it ask KJT!!!!
