Lisa was absolutely fantastic! I did the 6 week daytime pattern cutting course, which fitted perfectly between school drop-off and pick-up times. Lisa taught me how to draft a skirt block and adapt it to make my own pattern. The way it was taught has left me confident and competent to tackle a bodice on my own. My only complaint was that the venue was cold, but this was January into February so that's probably to be expected.

I completed the full pattern cutting course with Lisa and I cannot praise her or the course highly enough! The class size was perfect giving Lisa ample time to spend with participants if they needed it. The course participants’ skills in sewing ranged from relative beginner to expert and all needs were catered for. Lisa is amazing! I completed the Beginners Pattern Cutting course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lisa was so encouraging and taught us so many skills that we'll use forever. The classes were so informative and Lisa was always happy to answer any questions we had to make sure we really understood the theory behind what we were doing. I absolutely loved Lisa’s 5 week beginners course. I can’t believe what we achieved after starting with no experience. The group is small, so Lisa was able to spend time helping all of us individually. The lessons were well planned and the group was really fun. I can definitely recommend this course for anyone with no sewing experience and would love to do another course with Lisa.

Learning to sew with Lisa was such a joy! I signed up for the 5 week Beginners Sewing course and have come out feeling much more confident. She is very warm and patient and has a genuine enthusiasm to teach and see us progress throughout. Her lessons were planned thoughtfully so we could get the most from the time, and there's a lovely community feel amongst the group, which made it all the more fun. 100% recommend and plan to try her other courses too.
