I have a mission this year to learn the guitar. Being an old dog this could be hard. Lewis teaches in a nice relaxed style. Easy to get on with. I am learning how much I don’t know and improving every week with new playing techniques and new snippets of famous songs. Very enjoyable experience. Yes I have new tricks :)

I have now been having lessons with Lewis for just over 6 weeks and my ability to play has improved massively. Lewis is calm, friendly and clearly very talented on the guitar. He can play a broad range of styles and fully understands musical theory. I find him very easy to talk to and enjoy our conversations each week. I would happily recommend him to players of any skill level and will definitely continue my lessons with him.

Lewis is a great teacher. His enthusiasm for music - and the guitar in particular - is contagious. The lessons are tailored (in my case I'm a complete beginner) and, crucially, Lewis makes them fun. He discovers the music you enjoy most and builds some of that in to his teaching in order to keep you motivated. He is also very patient! I would highly recommend Lewis to anyone wanting to learn from scratch or refine the skills they have already (he is clearly quite a good guitar player!).

I was a complete beginner when I started having lessons with Lewis, but thanks to his easy going and patient approach to teaching I found that I picked things up quickly and looked forward to lessons each week! He manages to make practice easy and fun with a variety of exercises and games and I now feel confident playing things that I would never have imagined I could play only months ago. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to start playing guitar.
