I love everything about my French lessons with Charlie. The thing I love the most is how she adapts the content to make it more relevant to me. These adaptations to my learning style make it so much more accessible and easier to learn. All the supporting materials are top drawer and this high quality helps massively. Its also good fun and there isn't a lesson gone by where we haven't laughed about something. Merci!!

Charlie tailors her teaching to my needs as a beginner learning Spanish for the first time. The lessons progress at a comfortable speed allowing me to grow my understanding as I progress whilst they are still fun! I also like the fact that the content of the lessons is structured and has a clear objectives so I can see the progression I am making. I have a reasonable knowledge of French grammar but wanted to improve my speaking and listening skills. Charlie is proving to be the perfect teacher for me. She is patient and her lessons are fun and varied. Each lesson is structured for the individual. As a 76 year old, I was concerned that my age would be a problem. I needn't have worried. It would seem that Charlie is at home with all age groups. She is a dedicated teacher.

Charlie is a great teacher and has given me confidence to start speaking Spanish again after many years. Her lessons are well structured and she provides lots of supporting materials to help me between lessons. She is also very flexible around content and pace, and always checks to ensure I am happy with what we have covered in a lesson before moving on to the next topic. I would thoroughly recommend Charlie.

I have enjoyed my lessons with Charlie so much. The learning materials that Charlie sends before each lesson are excellent and provide a really good base for revising in my own time. Charlie’s style is engaging, full of enthusiasm and humour, and there is a great blend of tasks, listening, speaking and discussion. Frankly Charlie has succeeded where so many language teachers of my youth couldn’t - she has made learning French fun. I am really grateful for that.
