Played today as a 3 ball, really nice course, greens good especially coming out of winter, all in all a good course.

Was invited to Captain's Drive in. Course was in great condition. Catering first class and made to feel very welcome by all. I've applied for membership.

A terrific value course on the Wirral coastline. This makes a very welcome change from the soggy parkland courses that you get at this time of year, and it was brilliant value for a course in fantastic condition. The greens were true, and became faster as the morning went on and the sun came out, and the links-like fairways were firm, meaning your drives bounced and ran, rather than plugging. Nice view around the course, function room is upstairs and it's okay. Bad points are as follows: On entering the steward told me that they didn't have a lift when I asked. Had to climb up two flights of stairs with a disability. Once I got upstairs I asked for the loo, guess what? Yes! Your right, downstairs they were. Then the lady whom informed me then said there's a stair lift at the back, but when I got to it you needed a key to use, by this point I almost peed my pants. Then back I we...
