Learn Guitar With Charlie

My son Joel has only been having lessons with Charlie for 6 months but he is progressing really well and enjoying playing more than ever. We have had a few different teachers in the past but Charlie is the best we've had so far. I can really see the difference the lessons are making already to his playing. He is taking his Grade 4 this Summer, he never had the confidence before but now seems ready to give it a go!! Joel loves his lessons and looks forward to every Monday. Highly recommend!!!

Charlie is a great guitar teacher and I feel lucky that we were recommended him about a year ago. We have had a few over the past ten years and he really is top notch. He is very technically proficient and very flexible and seems to be able to teach everything, he's currently supporting my son through Grade Eight plus a performance diploma. Most importantly he is just a cheery, bolstering kind of person who offers a lot of support and encouragement and inspiration too.

Charlie has been teaching my 10 year old for over 4 years and has also just started teaching my 5 year old. My eldest started with the Ukulele and worked up to and completed his Grade 2 before moving onto guitar. He recently passed Grade 1 Guitar after only one school term! Charlie is a fantastic, first class guitar teacher. He has been teaching my son, Toby for over 2 years, who thoroughly enjoys his lessons. Charlie has a huge personality and is very easy to get on with. He levels the lessons to suit Toby's wants and needs. It is through Toby that Charlie now plays and teaches the ukelele.
