Love it friday after work ideal for a wind down drink good friendly atmosphere

It's a good bar, there's plenty of room to sit and whilst looking out to the pitch, with Lansdown Hill in the distance, have a pint and some very reasonable food. The barman/manager is a really nice person and the whole place is kept clean and tidy. You'll need to book on a Sunday as it gets really busy and they also cater for get togethers/meetings throughout the week. The food is good, always hot and well cooked. Lansdown cricket club… I’m eternally grateful to them for their support during my stay in a nearby hospital. They made my 11 weeks bearable if not enjoyable. It has it all… Lovely staff who showed a genuine interest in the club and me. Excellent food for a more than reasonable price. (Burgers are excellent, but try and get their fish and chips on Friday) As well as a really great crowd of regulars that help to create a warm atmosphere. Friendly staff and the pesto chicken sandwich was delicious. All the food that came out to the table looked lovely, thank you to the team in the kitchen.

Wonderful place! Will definitely come back!! Had a baby that took a while so I had to wait after hospital hours for my partner and baby, the staff were very kind and welcoming and the patrons were very friendly, had a nice chat whilst I waited a couple hours, lovely interior with a good selection of drinks, wonderful atmosphere, thank you guys!!! I won't forget it!! X
