Lancaster Golf Club

So it was cold... Light dusting of snow even, and it was going to snow heavily in the evening. But with a woolley hat, it was a pleasant surprise that the course played beautifully... sure there were a few tee mats and we had to play from the first cut of rough (unless you had a mini mat-yuck), but that is how you keep your course in great condition and Lancaster Golf Club is in Great Condition! Not too long, not too tight, there are some cheeky bunkers that are a bit scary, so you might lay ...

It rained 🌧 all day, but this doesn't dampen my rating for this course. What a setting, from the club house being a castle, to all the amenities, what a great place. The course itself was in fantastic condition despite the rain, from tee too green. I would really like to play again in better conditions, as the tricky greens would be even trickier. All in all a lovely place to play golf ⛳️

Gem of a course in a really nice setting. Never felt more welcome from members who to a man made a point of saying hello with a few making sure I was on the right track. Only regret that I didn't complete my round as it was so busy and I was playing(badly) as a 1 ball. Missed the chance to play the 18th which is a real stunner

Top golf course, not played for 15/20 years, lush fairways and semi ruff, a joy to play, fantastic layout, good pro shop, awesome castle Clubhouse, very good staff. Just go, it's a real pleasure.

Simon. Absolutely fabulous track. Played all over the UK but in all honesty this is up there with the best. Greens are superb and each hole completely different. Loved 18 (although didn’t love me). Highly recommended . Just wish I lived nearer Lancaster .
