Lancaster City Football Club

Great location right next to the train station and a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. Good place to watch football with the family and having visited many clubs and grounds in this league a great league to watch with fast paced play at an affordable price. Queues for bar/food were extremely long however this was likely due to Non-League Day. Would happily come back here to watch a match if I was in the area.

Friendly grass roots football at its best. All the players are happy to talk to the kids and sign autographs. Directors are just normal people who pour their heart and soul into the club. Just want to say a big thank you to everyone involved with Lancaster City FC for hosting Bury AFC in our FA Cup match. Thank you to all the fantastic volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the day and to everyone who made us feel so welcome at the Giant Axe. Had a fantastic time talking with locals about everything football, history and the City, very interesting. Lovely backdrop to the ground. See you Wednesday in the reply.

Excellent non league ground with a perfect location for visiting by rail (2 minutes walk to the station). Food was excellent and highly recommended, and admission was £10 which is very fair for the level. Will return!
