A friendly, welcoming and experienced Jiu Jitsu academy. When coming from no experience, I was a bit nervous to start. As a female it can be daunting going into a male dominated space, but here I felt very comfortable straight away. Everyone is very welcoming, the main instructor Luc is very knowledgeable and the many talented members are willing to help. Training is suitable for all levels, and gives me a great workout. I highly recommend it here, I look forward to training on the mats.

I couldn't recommend Luc highly enough to do him justice. I've been going to Lamude for nearly three years and absolutely love the atmosphere and everyone there. Excellent technical breakdowns and free rolling mats and with the odd seminar chucked in from Olympic wrestlers and Gracie black belts, who could want more.

First rate skills training in BJJ. Very friendly club everyone trying to learn / improve. Luc reveals the magic bit by bit each week. Ju jitsu is a fantastic sport, like human chess.

I had a great time training at Lamude BJJ. The instructor is a legitimate BJJ black belt under Roger Gracie so the techniques showed was top notch. In my opinion its the best and only place to train BJJ in Basildon. Im hooked and will definitely be going back.
