Lakeland Segway

We did the 75mins Cartmel tour. There were 8 of us celebrating 70th birthday. Lilly and Seb were our guides and looked after us very patiently. My parents went rogue so it was like trying to herd cats. It was such fun and part of it was in the rain but we didn't mind in the slightest. 4 of us can't even ride bikes so balance isn't an issue. Brilliant experience. If you’ve never ridden one, you’ll get some basic training and you’ll get to grips with it within a few minutes. Nice tour through the forest in Cartmel.

We booked the 75 minute Cartmel Segway Tour which uses the off road Segways. It starts with a basic handling course so you get the hang of them before you go off on a trip along farm roads.
