Kynoch Chess Club Official Website The official Kynoch Chess Club Website. Kynoch Chess Club is one of the most successful chess clubs in Birmingham and District Chess League. It has been running for over 60 years and its earliest success in the BDCL came with an individual trophy for D J Youston in 1949. Kynoch won the league in 1964 and also in 1968. Kynoch went through a successful spell in the eighties with when they won the League from 1981 to 1985, this has only been repeated once by South Birmingham A from 2006 to 2010. Kynoch are hoping to return to the top flight after suffering relegation recently.
