I was so looking forward to playing KHGC - booked it 2 months ago 2pm 1/9/22 and counted down the days. I was born in Poole not too far away so a nostalgic trip in many ways as I now live in Birmingham and had 2 days business in Poole. What a disappointment ! No friendly welcome, bar staff seemed disinterested although food was good. Pro Shop didnt have my booking although they found the emails. Still had to put ball in the chute ? What is that about? I was sandwiched between 2 x 2 balls both...

Great course, good challenge, loads of investment which is paying off visibly. Club house and Pro shop staffed with friendly welcoming people. Food is amazing and priced really well. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs where the nicest I have had in years. Highly recommended.

I played Knighton Heath today whilst visiting the South Coast on a family holiday. Having done a little investigation I chose Knighton as a cost effective alternative to some of the more famous and celebrated courses in the area, of which there are many. I played at 3.30pm on a twilight rate , £30. This deal is unreal value. Knighton is an absolute gem and could command a fee well over £100 in my opinion!
