Girls Make Games is back with TWO new Beginners courses in January, in both Derry and Belfast! Open to girls aged between 10 and 13, this FREE after school 8 week long course introduces the students to some of the skills needed to make your own computer game. This includes learning how to use Gamemaker, a free 2D game engine, and how to use illustration software Procreate on ipads. We also give the girls an idea of what it is like to work in the exciting and growing world of game dev in Northern Ireland, with visits to game dev studios and talks from some of the super inspiring women working in game dev today
