Had a great beginner's day of rock climbing with Mike. We spent the day doing a few easier pitches on Middlefell Buttress, learning to lead climb, place protection, and belay each other. Mike was patient, knowledgeable and fun. We felt safe the whole time, learned a lot and got to enjoy a nice lunch high up on the rocks. Highly recommended!
