  • Nice Park on the water can be busy but has lots of events there

  • Great for an informal game of bowls. Free use of rinks from 10am ( providing no matches on). Close to the beach, adequate parking close by and delightful cafe in pleasant surroundings .

  • I play bowls once a week here, for a returnable deposit of a fiver you can use their bowls, mats and score boards, the greens could do with updating.

  • Great little cafe close to the sea with a touch of 1960's American Diner about it. Hot tea, hot sausage roll and a slice of home-made ginger cake went down a treat on a cold, cloudy April morning. They do a cooked breakfast - couple next to us were tucking in and seemingly thoroughly enjoying it. Well worth a visit. Inexpensive & very good service and I don't even play bowls!

  • This is a restful Park beside the seafront in Lowestoft. If you want a leisurely walk through laid out gardens, sail a model boat or just watch the crown green bowling with a pot of tea and a cake this is ideal.
