About Kate Allsop Ceramics
I am using porcelain, grogged porcelain and crank clays at the moment. Using the techniques of handbuilding, pressmoulding and throwing. Majolica decoration onto a semi-transparet tin glaze fired to 1250 degrees centigrade in an electric kiln. I offer adults pottery classes pottery classes. As a group we follow each individuals interests and try to learn through each others ideas. We are a very vibrant group and have done various collaborative projects.
