K9 Konnect - Dog Behaviourist

Had a fantastic session with Russ yesterday to work with our viszla puppy Maia. Great method and he has given us a happy and practical way forward with our approach to raising her. Really helps that Russ is very approachable and explains everything in a really understandable way.

We were recommended Russ as a dog behaviourist by a local dog owner as our 2 Yr old border collie Rupert was very reactive and aggressive with other dogs. He has taught us invaluable techniques to use and built our own confidence as dog owners. Russ was a great help with our rescue springer spaniel. He sat down with us and discussed some of the issues we were facing, although not huge we wanted to feel like we knew what we were doing! He is so knowledgeable and by the time he left us our confidence had increased so much, the behaviours we discussed have almost stopped and we know how to deal with them when they occur. I contacted Russ about my very anxious 6mth old cane corso. Russ booked us in and came to the house he sat for 20 minutes and let Luna do her thing, we then talked about our issues and we went on several walks and Luna displayed every behaviour we needed help with. Russ was fantastic in helping us to understsnd Mac's issues and what was needed to give him a more peaceful life. Russ spent over 6 hours with us and covered the hurdles to we had to get over. So far, so good and everything he advised has signs of working. Given time, Mac will be more relaxed around new people. Russ comes highly recommended and has a wealth of knowledge with animal behaviour.
