Julie Chaney Calligraphy

Attended a workshop today. Fantastic introduction to calligraphy. Julie was so patient and helpful. Definitely given me the spark to continue to learn more and would definitely be keen to attend another workshop.

I have really enjoyed Julie’s calligraphy classes. She has been very supportive and encouraging, which has got me from absolute beginner to being able to make bookmarks for friends. I am keen to continue with her classes and to learn more from her about calligraphy.

I’ve been attending Julie’s Calligraphy classes on Wednesdays at Ogilvie Hall and previously at Mistley Quay for a number of years. I have been attending Julie's Saturday morning calligraphy classes for three years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Julie is an excellent teacher - calm, patient and always encouraging. The atmosphere in class is friendly and relaxed (tea, coffee and biscuits always on offer) and I have had the opportunity to meet some lovely people.
