To become a private hire driver in London topographical evaluation is required. You only have two attempts for the topographical test. If candidates fail twice they need to resubmit a new application. Since the beginning of 2022 topographical assessment is changing. Now four route planning questions instead of six. Also exam length is 90 minutes instead of 120.
