As a beginner with the guitar I sought advice re having lessons and a number of people instantly recommended Jon. I have not been disappointed. Jon is knowledgeable and friendly. Every session is structured to my needs and always covers both strumming and finger plucking. The sessions are invariably challenging but are satisfying and enjoyable.

Jon has taught me guitar for several years and I cannot praise him highly enough. His lessons are always well planned and challenging but never overwhelming. Jon is extremely patient and enthusiastic. The lessons cover a variety of genres and I have particularly enjoyed learning new songs I have never heard of before. Jon has been my Guitar instructor of around 2 years. His technical ablity and knowldge of music theory are very impressive which gives me confidence that I am learning from someone who genuinely knows what he is doing. Jon has also been very flexible and refocused the lessons to suit my own dreams as a guitarist and musician.
