John Shaw Equestrian Centre

We've been riding here for around 6 months now, and I love it. We are given horses that gently stretch our ability and our lovely instructor Claire is knowledgeable, positive and encouraging. The range of horses available is amazing, they are well behaved and very responsive. The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoy riding here, and would give it more stars if I could! Highly recommend, wherever you are on your riding journey.

My son booked me in for a surprise 50th birthday and what an amazing surprise it turned out to be. My horse was the very handsome Mr T and he was a total gent. The whole experience was wonderful.

We have just returned from our first lesson and we were delighted to be welcomed by such a friendly team. The lovely lady on reception Debbie, instructors Kim and Lyndsey all exceeded our expectations and couldn't have been more customer focused. The organisation that we experienced in three different lessons was spot on. The horses look very well cared for and were a pleasure to ride. A lovely warm viewing area to watch the arena was great too!

Can’t put into words how much I love this place. Ridden here for 9years, worked her for 5 years and have had my first horse stabled here for almost 2years now. We can't praise this outfit enough! John is a gentleman, he has spent much of his personal time advising us on what's best for our horse! He's always there when we need him! Nothing is ever too much! We keep our horse at johns too, he's great with our daughters and treats them like his own! It's like a family down at the stables! He doesn't stand any messing! And has his own way!
