John is a true professional whose love of music is infectious. He is warm and friendly and really patient, using lots of praise to motivate and inspire his pupils. My daughter was playing a song after her very first lesson and by lesson two was composing and singing her own! A excellent tutor, highly recommended.

I have been having guitar lessons with John for a while and I can honestly say he's a great teacher, great guitarist himself, very patient and most of all a good listener. When I can't nail a particular song, and start to lose patience, his calm demeanour and motivational skills come to the fore. Would highly recommend him.
