Jo has been teaching my son clarinet since he started learning at high school and more recently at her home. In that time she has helped him progress through grades 1-7 and an A level Music recital. She has made this so enjoyable that he is now having lessons during university holidays to finish his grade 8. She is always most helpful in giving advice when needed. She has been very helpful in fitting in lessons to suit us especially around the time of the recital and now during his holidays. ...

For a few years now my daughters have been having flute and piano lessons. They have both progressed through their grades fantastically. Joanne has a enthusiastic and professional approach to teaching which has benefited both my children. I can not recommend Joanne highly enough.

Jo has given my daughter the skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to flourish learning her new instrument. We've been going to Jo for about 18 months now and she has supported my daughter through 2 exams very successfully, and has always done so with good humour, all the while building confidence in ability. My daughter loves her lessons with Jo, I couldn't recommend her more highly as a teacher.

My daughter has flute and saxaphone lessons with Jo and has successfully passed all gradings that she has taken. Jo is keen to promote a love of music and as well as teaching the required elements for exams, actively encourages children to play music which they have a personal interest in - film scores for my daughter. This certainly helps to motivate students. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone looking for music tuition.
