James is very precise with his teaching and he will not allow errors to become habits. He is happy to allow the students to grow by themselves but will advise if errors are present. Learning is step by step leading towards a better understanding of how the guitar functions and your understanding of the instrument.
Very Friendly and Knowledgeable tutor/environment. I really enjoy our lessons and feel I have learnt a lot in the short time I have had them. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about the guitar.
James takes a refreshingly pragmatic approach to learning guitar. He doesn’t spend ages showcasing his own skills preferring to get me playing and improvising well known songs along with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and a really good tutor.
