In the small amount of time I have been learning from James, I have been able to see a clear path to where I would like my playing to progress to. James has the rare ability to see you where you are and elevate your playing to another level. He genuinely cares about your progression and is there any time to assist with your questions and work through any issues. He also believes in making the process as enjoyable and engaging as possible.

James has taught my children guitar during the lockdown and continues still. Online learning has been brilliant and he is able to communicate very easy with the kids in teaching various song's. He closes songs that the kids like to learn and makes it interesting for them. Very professional service.

Before I made contact with James I had started and then quit trying to learn the guitar on numerous occasions, but since I’ve been taking lessons with James about 16 months ago I haven’t looked back since. James has excellent teaching skills and he is very kind friendly ,patient and always full of encouragement My son is not only learning but he is also enjoying and looking forward to every lesson! He makes sure that my son knows exactly what to practice and how to practice. In addition to that he also provides him with videos if needed. James is a great teacher and there has been a huge improvement in my son's playing since he started couple of months ago. highly recommend James as a teacher!
