James Sharp Drum Tutor

I cannot reccomend James' tutoring highly enough! Despite having some prior experience, in just a year of lessons, I have come on in leaps and bounds, and he recently helped me achieve my grade 7. His lessons are perfect for drummers of any standard.

James very kindly offered free drum lessons to children of NHS staff during the peak of the Covid pandemic & contacted me to offer this service. Both of my children benefitted greatly & continued to have lessons with James following lock down. James is professional and has a great set up for teaching remotely. James is a fantastic teacher. My son has been learning to play the drums with him for about 4 years and he has achieved distinctions in both of his grade exams. In other areas of learning, my son can struggle sometimes but James has a way of making him feel at ease. He is very patient and calm.
