J F Polo Academy

If you’re interested in horses, polo or just looking for something different to try you have to go to JF Polo academy. Riding experience isn’t essential, the horses are very well behaved but responsive if you do want to go faster. James was a fab instructor, showing us the basics and we even got to play a game at the end. I haven’t had so much fun in years and despite the rain at the start of the lesson I had the biggest grin on my face for the rest of the day… Go have a lesson, it’s great...

During our tour of England our friend gifted my teenagers a polo lesson with JF Polo and what a blast they had! James was a great teacher but laid back and made the experience very relaxed and not stressful. There were lots of laughs and great memories were made.

Bought an experience day 2 years ago . Claire was very understanding regarding cancellations due to the pandemic. She arranged a slightly different day which my daughter thought was excellent involving lessons and practice matches. James made sure my daughter had a great time and really catered the day to her riding experience (slightly more than a beginner). James and Claire are very professional and I would certainly recommend this experience.

My sister and I have had our first polo lesson and the whole experience was fab from start to finish. The horses were amazing, the tuition was great and we had so much fun playing a mini match against the other beginners. We'll definitely be back for another lesson soon.

I am by no means a natural on a horse. However, James and his team managed a minor miracle in just a few short sessions. A fantastic experience I would recommend to everyone and a totally unique buzz.
