  • The Island sailing club is a wonderful and historic club only wish i would have brought a burgee with me from Newport.

  • We stopped over for lunch while out on a days sail on the Solent. A lovely walk through Cowes high street that lead our way to here. It seems to hold plenty of history, with lots of photos, awards & trophies adorning walls & shelfs.   • The cafe is in a great location next to the water. Very casual dining with disposable plates, boxes and wooden cutlery. But the food was good. A nice burger and the fries are fantastic . In fact the fries are so good all the staff are eating them between serving. The guy on the barbecue was eating fries, the waiting staff had a couple of boxes in a booth on the go and the doughnut guy... well he was too busy on his phone so I'm not sure if he was actually eating fries as well.   • First time they held a full wedding, they did very well. With extreme heat, the food was really good, staff friendly . The venue itself held amazing views of west cowes.
