Irvine Golf Club

Lovely Christmas lunch. Friendly service, and very warm welcome. Dad, Jim Heron, has been a member since 1970. Mum died three years ago, and he has not been keen to visit alone. I hope he will visit more often now. Thank you all for making him feel so at home.

Playing the course a couple of times next year, liking the good reviews apart from the 1* from celtic clubhead cover man, sums him up.

Really good golf course traditional clubhouse very welcoming. Tight fairways and greens were excellent and a very tough challenge. Would definitely visit again.

Just played the Open and the course was in great condition. Greens super smooth. Brian and Sandy who were in my 3 ball were great company. If you haven’t played it before get yourself down there. Brilliant fun.

Played Irving yesterday and what a fabulous advertisement for golf. As we turned up we were met by the club president and ex captain Jimmy who introduced himself and gave us quick tour of the clubhouse and facilities, he also accompanied us to the 1st tee. Nice touch. Course superb loved it. Thanks and hopefully see you next year. Would highly recommend greens were as good as you will get anywhere.
