  • We went to a wake here of my uncle, and the spread they put on was amazing, I tried for 2 pieces of cake but I failed, they catered for all food tolerances, and couldn't do enough for you. The place is clean and impressive if you like bowls, and the players were so kind as well as funny if they weren't so far away I would go back again.

  • Have been a member with my wife for 42 years holding various posts and both of us being honoured with life membership for the work put in over these many years. A great club one of the best. I have also been an area coordinator for the EIBA covering some 17 clubs and their National competitions for several years.

  • We were there as East Anglia Books at the modellers fair, by invitation. The centre has both indoor and outdoor bowling greens. One young lady at the club is a World champion having started bowling with her mother at I would think about 6 to 8 years old! The whole place was very clean with a nice bar. Several people were playing bridge in the comfortable lounge area.

  • Excellent facility with 6 rinks and plenty of space for social discussion. Lunchtime meals very reasonable and membership is a reasonable price, £68 first year and £58 for subsequent years. Very busy mid morning, mid afternoon and early evening with a lot of leagues and competitions. Non booked use £3 for 2 hours, booked £18/rink. Best time 1215 -1415 from what I gather. Plenty of parking with no charge.

  • Had a baby shower in the back room here. The bar staff were helpful in providing pens and table water. You are asked to tidy up after yourself. But the room was a good size and tables and chairs are also available for your use. The users of the bowls room are very friendly.
