Ilusion Flamenca

Ilusion Flamenca is a wonderful school and Angela is a fantastic, tolerant Teacher. This is the place to go in London if you want to learn Flamenco. It is such a happy place to be and like a big family. There is performance opportunities if you wish to perform. Lessons have a live guitarist & other guests artists during the year.

Highly recommended. I am a beginner and not a natural dancer! But Angela is a fantastic teacher who pitches her lessons so that all her students feel comfortable. She also arranges fun practice sessions which are an opportunity to use the dance you have learned.

This is a really good place to learn Flamenco and Sevillanas. The teacher, Angela, is very committed, devoted to her students and goes the extra mile to ensure you not only learn but also participate in events or parties that she arranges to raise money for good Charity causes where you can apply the steps you learn in the classes and socialise with everyone. I decided to take a Beginners Sevillanas Course at Ilusion Flamenca last year and it's the best decision I made in 2022. It's been so positive mentally and physically that my only regret is not having done it earlier; and I've now moved on to an Improvers Course! Mentally, my confidence has been improving each week as my mind learns new steps and my coordination gets better (great bonus when you're 40+:) Also, the stamina I get from each class lasts for a couple of days afterwards!
