Recommended A+++ I had an excellent trial lesson, demonstrating and putting me safely in control of an amazing helicopter with superb capabilities. Captain Alex Hoff tailored the experience to suit exactly what I asked - to see how much fun and versatile a helicopter can be. He also answered my countless and lengthy questions on operations, maintenance etc in a very clear and relaxed way - a great teacher. Loved every second and can very highly recommend Captain Hoff and Hoff Aviation.

What an experience! I have had two lessons so far and Alex has made flying really enjoyable. His relaxed style and attitude to teaching makes the whole time in the air a pleasure. I am eager to get back flying with him again as soon as possible. Also, he was very accommodating with regard to my family watching from the sidelines.

Great location near London and the South East and the aircraft to learn on, the R22 helicopter, is the most affordable training option for new pilots. Alex Hoff spends a lot of time discussing and briefing pre-flight and demonstrates the helicopter very professionally. The views over Surrey and the surrounding countryside were excellent and it's fun to fly low and slow around the airfield. Recommended.

Alex is an absolutely fantastic instructor. I have done 15hrs towards my private licence so far and have hugely enjoyed every lesson, while progressing at a good pace. Because Alex is so experienced he is able to effortlessly tailor the course to each student's individual needs, while making the whole thing feel safe, fun and purposeful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alex to anyone - he is the best in the business.
