HoardingUK Recovery College 3 for People Who Hoard

Description

A psychoeducational workshop over four sessions designed to empower greater personal understanding for people affected by hoarding behaviours.  

• Discusses hoarding disorder/hoarding behaviour
• Looks at-risk/Risk Assessment
• Explores the Care Act 2014 (including Safeguarding and Advocacy)
• Provides ‘Tips and Tricks’
• Is solution-focused and empowering
• Outcome is an action plan

The course consists of 5 sessions usually on the first Friday of the month, which start on Friday the 2nd of September 12.30pm -3.00pm.

To gain the most from this course it is advised that you attend each session.

New participants will not able to join the course mid-way through.
