Hillside Clubhouse

I was so impressed when I visited Hillside. They do great work to support people and provide meaningful experiences for people. In addition to their services, they have a FAB kiosk, selling fresh sandwiches and home made soup and cakes. If you're in the neighbourhood - pop in and treat yourself

Such a shame they claim to be a MH support place but do not offer any. The person who I took to be the manager had no understanding of MH. I was interrogated while in a small locked room and when I displayed my nervous ticks they aggressively questioned me. They tried to accuse me, diagnose me with medical issues based on nothing and they're not qualified to do this. It may work for some but definitely not a good experience. They were happy for me to work for free which was kind of them.

I work in the kiosk there but closed at present so volunteering in the kitchen..cooking ...it s an exceptional charity for mental health & has helped countless people get back into work ..with courses support opportunities to rebuild thir lives & confidence....some amazing working staff & members there ....

it is ok but not what i really want to do it is more for experience untill i get the dream job. Good atmosphere and the help from staff is very good. i am happy to be working in a team.
