This is such a nurturing and inclusive group. The coaches and volunteers are patient, kind, encouraging and most importantly, they simply "get" all the children. They just know how to get the reluctant kids playing too, and that's clearly because they care. Thanks to all the 'grown-ups' at Hillsborough Hornets and the older Hornets who look after the younger Hornets too 😊

My son has been part of the hornets now for 8 months, after trying mainstream football on many occasions, he just couldn’t cope. So when I heard about the hornets we had to give it a go! he was very shy, & spent a lot of time indoors on his iPad. Didn’t have any passion at all! Hillsborough Hornets is an amazing inclusive football club. It is run with professionalism, humour and patience. Each adult volunteer involved cares about each of the kids. The kids play as a team and make friends as well as progress together. The whole ethos of the Hornets is inclusivity and that football is for everyone! So pleased that we found this club.

Our daughter loves Hillsborough Hornets and our whole family feel welcomed and supported by the club. All the players feel welcomed and included, whatever level of footballing capability they have or challenges they face. The coaches are fab and Zoe and Sally are so kind and help make us all feel like a big family - go Hornets!!
