Hilda Carr Pottery

My daughter and I had a wonderful time at our lesson with Hilda. She was very patient and we had loads of fun using the wheel. I was amazed that we managed to make some lovely items. Would recommend and will definitely be returning.

Hilda was so welcoming and accommodating to my requirements and expectations for the session, tailoring it to my individual needs. I learnt so much in such a short space of time and even though I have some pottery experience, having my own kiln and wheel at home, the one on one session was invaluable and I was able to go home and put into practice everything that I had learnt. I will definitely be returning for more expert advice!

I visited Hilda with a friend last year and we enjoyed a wheel throwing session. Hilda is very patient and encouraging and we were delighted with our glazed pottery, so much so, that I rebooked and took my daughter as a Christmas present. We really rate Hilda and have no hesitation in recommending this lovely potter.

Hilda is a wonderful pottery teacher. We thoroughly enjoy our lessons and have been back more than once. We hope to carry on learning and developing our pottery skills- the 2 hour lessons fly by and we have always made a number of unique pieces, which Hilda glazes, fires and sends to us. We went with no prior experience and were amazed at our creations by the end of it!

I’ve had a lesson with Hilda, and will plan to have follow up lessons soon. The lesson was great. Having never sat at a potters wheel before she was very encouraging and help me create a few items in our first session that looked like I knew what I was doing! Would highly recommend!!!!
