  • This is not the most challenging course you will ever play. It is however, almost always open and increasingly well managed. The greens are in surprisingly good condition considering the weather and new drainage has improved a few wet areas. It is a good course for the novice as it lacks the jeopardy of most courses (trees bushes and wooded areas) as it is fairly open! The rough, however, can be brutal, especially in the winter.   • Only went to Cliffy the pro for a series of Golf lessons, I've been to scores of teachers in the past but Cliffy told me things no other Pro has told me that has improved my game remarkably, I can't speak highly of his training methods, for me...TOP MAN.

  • Good course. Well placed bunkers with actual sand unlike other local courses. £20 for 18 and £10 for 9 holes. Rough is good but not too rough. Much improved since new management taken over. Got a PGA Pro based there now and nice food and bar onsite too.
